Delivery

Our dedicated team deliver goods across Shetland all year round. After placing your order, we will contact with you to arrange a date for delivery. You can opt for delivery only, or you can add installation. Removal of old appliances is also available.  

We deliver goods Monday to Friday, with some occassional Saturdays.

We do not state specific delivery times, but we will tell you if your delivery will be in the morning or afternoon. Our delivery team’s day is busy and their schedule is very changeable, so we cannot commit to exact times for this reason.

Please note we do not deliver outwith the Shetland Isles.

Mainland Shetland deliveries

Free delivery throughout Mainland Shetland.

Deliveries are usually 2-5 working days for stock that is already in Shetland. For stock that we order up from Euronics, it can be in Shetland swiftly, but please get in touch with the shop to find out when to expect it. Call 01595 692915 or email mail@grdirect.co.uk

Isles deliveries

We offer a few options:

• £40.50 delivery charge for Bressay
• £75.50 delivery charge for Unst, Yell, or Whalsay
• £125.50 delivery charge for Fetlar
• £12.50 charge to the Freight Centre at JW Grays, Lerwick (serving Unst, Yell, Fetlar, Whalsay). The customer is then responsible for the carriage from this point via their local haulier.
• Free drop off to mainland Ferry Terminals for Bressay, Out Skerries, Papa Stour, Foula and Fair Isle. The customer is then responsible for the goods once they’ve been dropped off.

We will aim to deliver within 7 working days to the isles, but please contact the shop for a more accurate idea of delivery.

Delivery when nobody is home

We will deliver goods to your home if nobody is there to accept it. You can state a safe place to leave the goods such as an accessible garage or shed.

If your doors will be locked you can advise us to the whereabouts of a spare key. Alternatively, you can drop off a key at our shop at least the day prior to the delivery date, which can be collected again the day after delivery.

Packaging

Please note that 'delivery only' means we will not remove any of the packaging from the goods. If you choose to have the product installed, we will remove and dispose of the packaging for you.

Click & Collect

Our Click & Collect service allows you to purchase your appliance online and arrange to collect from our shop or store in Lerwick. Simply choose the ‘Click & Collect’ option when you are at the checkout.

Once you have ordered your appliance, we will contact you to confirm your order and state where and when it will be available for collection. If we have stock locally we should be able to arrange collection on the same working day, or the next working day.
